I'm Ashly Burns. I am a Millsap alumni. I attended Millsap ISD Kinder through 12th grade. I have represented Millsap in numerous ways throughout my years in this community. I qualified to go to state in powerlifing in 2007 and placed fourth at the state level. I have cheered, played volleyball and basketball, and participated in track. I have competed in UIL events and was a Beta member all through middle and high school. I have a passion for mathematics. I enjoy teaching students how to connect real world experiences to the required mathematics curriculum. My goal is to find new and creative ways to keep students engaged and involved in their learning. I am certified in 7th through 12th grade mathematics. I am married and we are raising our daughter in the Millsap community. Our daughter is a fun, loving, passionate, outgoing little girl. She loves to be silly and never takes a serious picture. She enjoys being around her two cousins and playing outside! I am excited to be teaching in my hometown and continuing to grow the minds of our youth.
