Cybersecurity is so important that we have to take every precaution to be sure that our data is safe.  As a result of phishing emails being on the rise, we have installed a phishing alert button in Gmail that allows you to report a phishing email whenever you see one.  When you click the new phishing alert button it will delete the email from your inbox and alert the technology department.  

This is one of many steps we will be taking to ensure that we have the best cybersecurity available.  If you have any questions or concerns please don't hesitate to let us know.  

Over Thanksgiving break there was a little confusion because we wanted to leave our Chromebook carts plugged in to be prepared for students the day we came back, but our energy management team unplugged them.  This won't happen again, but when we return from Christmas break we have a full work day to charge devices so they will be ready for students the next day.  So it is safe to unplug EVERYTHING over Christmas break. 

Cybersecurity has become such an integral part of our lives that we have to be sure we are doing what we can to keep our data safe.  To help with this, everyone will need to change their password before Christmas Break, and will have to regularly change their passwords moving forward.  This slight disruption will help keep Employee and Student data secure.
