Hey parents! I hope that you will join us for our next parent program! I have already learned so much while planning this class, I can't wait to experience the actual program itself. Parenting Connections is a program created by the Texas A&M Agri-Life Extension Agency. Cathy Smith, extension agent from Parker County, will be presenting on Thursday night February 6 & 13 at 6 pm. Each meeting will be about 1 1/2 hours. There will be dinner and childcare! On the first night we will cover child growth and development and parent-child communication. Did you know that the development of physical and social skills could actually affect your child's ability to learn later on? I didn't but it makes sense! What parent doesn't struggle to communicate with their child? If you have that one figured out then PLEASE come share your secret! The second night she will cover self esteem and guidance and discipline. I will be watching for your registration! Can't wait to see you!
