At the March meeting of the Millsap ISD Board of Trustees, many students and employees were recognized for their amazing work and contributions to the MISD learning community.  

Millsap Elementary star teacher Mrs. Karen Buchanan was recognized as the 2021 district honoree at the Jack Harvey Academy of Exemplary Teachers. 

Millsap Middle School Instructional Aide Mrs. Melissa Mahaney was honored as the PCAT Bus Driver of the Year.

The Girls Basketball team recognized their All-District Selections:

District Offensive Player of the Year - Kelsey Ground

1st Team All District - Haylee Herring

2nd Team All District - Taylor Cotton, Cheynne Pagan, Stormie Ingersoll

All District Honorable Mention - Claire Ground

Academic All District - Taylor Cotton, Claire Ground, Kelsey Ground, Haylee Herring, Stormie Ingersoll, Kaiti Mizeski, Loren Morazzano, Cheynne Pagan, and Berkli Sims

Mr. Briese and the MISD Technology Team were recognized for receiving national recognition winning the Outstanding Implementation Award for Small Districts from Classlink.
