The Millsap ISD Board of Trustees met for their monthly meeting on Monday February 28, 2022 to discuss district business and recognize some of the great things that are happening around MISD.  

The meeting began with Katelyn Meador and Corbin Vollmer, two members of the Performing Arts Team in Jr. Beta at MMS, presenting the flags and leading everyone in the pledges.  

Mrs. Rachel Stull was recognized for receiving the Jack Harvey Exemplary Teacher award for 2022.  Mrs. Stull was chosen as the MISD representative for this prestigious award that is given to one teacher per school district in Parker and surrounding counties.

Two Millsap High School students, Rainie and Stormie Ingersol, were recognized for their many achievements during their time at MISD as well as for receiving the Parker County Today Horizon Award.  This award is given to a select number of young people making a difference in their community across Parker County.  MHS Principal Tammy Addison and MHS teacher Stephanie Pitts explained the many achievements that these two sisters have accomplished, and their continuing growth by discussing their future plans at Lamar University and Texas Christian University. 

Mrs. Cyndi Holder, sponsor of the Millsap Middle School chapter of Jr. Beta, presented the National Qualifiers in multiple Jr. Beta groups.  The students were praised for their hard work and dedication, along with their success in competition.
