All-District volleyball and All-District football players were recognized at December's school board meeting. Eleven volleyball players and 17 football players receiving All-District Academic honors is quite an impressive accomplishment for MHS. It’s always great to see students being celebrated for their hard work both on the field and in the classroom.
It was also a great night to celebrate amazing staff that go above and beyond serving our Bulldogs. Employees of the month for November were Jenny Moore and Valerie Turner - MES, Riana Beavers - MMS, David Bean - MHS, and Connie Wiese - MISD. Mrs. Wiese also received a special plaque in recognition of her retirement at the end of the month.
A very special recognition was given to Millsap Middle School. For the second consecutive year, MMS has been ranked among the 2025 Best Middle Schools by U.S. News & World Report. The rankings include more than 79,000 public elementary and middle schools across the country.
