IXL

Fully aligned content

IXL's skills are aligned to the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR), the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), the Texas College and Career Readiness Standards, and the Texas Prekindergarten Curriculum Guidelines, providing comprehensive coverage of math concepts and applications. With IXL's state standards alignments, you can easily find unlimited practice problems specifically tailored to each required standard.

Track by standard

With the IXL Analytics standards center it's simple to view student progress towards state standards. The reports in the standards center allow you to quickly evaluate student aptitude and identify trouble spots.

Khan Academy

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

Math Ebook

The goal of this website is to provide new education tools to teachers, parents and off course students who can benefit from it.

Mathebook.net has Online Tutorials as well as Downloadable pdf tutorials which one can save on computer and use later, even it can be used by teachers for home work purpose, as this pdf is editable and kids can e-mail the homework tutorials by e-mail back to Teachers.

Math4Texas

The Math Initiative was instituted through the collaborative efforts of the Education Service Center (ESC) Region 11 board and superintendents to help parents and teachers understand the content and conceptual changes of the revised Math Texas Essential Knowledge & Skills (TEKS) and their impact on students’ everyday learning and thinking.

The Math Initiative has three key components to assist parents, students, and teachers not only in ESC Region 11 but in all regions across the state of Texas to be successful in understanding the depth of knowledge that the revised Math TEKS encompass and to be confident in their everyday teaching with these new shifts of thinking.

The first component is the parent website known as Math4Texas.org. This website showcases the Math TEKS by grade level with tips, examples, digital tools, and videos to help parents understand the math concepts and skills that their children are learning. As grade level content development continues, similar resources for teachers will be added.

The second component of the Math Initiative is the STAARting with the TEKS: Math Academies for the Digital Age. These academies are divided into Grades K-1, 2-3, 4-5, and 6-8, incorporating face-to-face sessions as well as the digital learning component of Canvas, the digital learning management system provided by ESC Region 11 districts. Through this innovative, blended learning opportunity, teachers not only deconstruct the revised Math TEKS and have a deeper understanding of the content, but use a variety of technology and web tools to enhance their Math instruction.

The last component of the Math Initiative is instructional coaching Instructional coaching provides valuable face-to-face opportunities for teachers to learn evidence-based practices along with support to help them apply and implement these student-centered instructional strategies into their Math classrooms.

Mathalicious

The first step in teaching a great lesson is finding a great lesson. We provide teachers with a variety of ways to find the right Mathalicious lessons for them and their students. Teachers can search by mathematical keyword (e.g. "exponential") or real-world topic (e.g. "exercise"). Every Mathalicious lesson is aligned to the Common Core Standards, and teachers can search by those, too.

Teaching is hard enough. Finding the right lessons should be easy.

Mathmaster

Learning because we’re interested. Learning what we can, not what’s just in our ‘target level’. Learning because it’s fun and we know why it’s important. Learning to understand, not just to be able to follow a method. Learning maths because it’s beautiful and useful, not because I must to pass an exam. A high quality, free education for every single person in the world...

Mathway

Mathway provides students with the tools they need to understand and solve their math problems. With the Mathway Classroom feature enabled, teachers can provide Mathway's automated tutoring technology to their students whenever they need assistance - at home or in the classroom.

NeoK12

Nrich

As a parent or carer you're sure to be interested in your child's mathematical learning, and we know that we have many resources which will help. We’ve lots of problems and games designed to meet the needs of youngsters from 5 to 19, although we have just started to add activities at either end of that age range i.e. for the really young children and undergraduates.

To get the best out of our resources it's important to understand how they work. We aim to write rich resources. That means that while they are usually easy to understand, there's plenty of depth in them for a young mind to explore. Don't expect to find repetitive exercises on mathematical techniques here. We want your child to understand, and to begin to think about problems in the way a mathematician would.

Sometimes you'll want to discuss and think about a problem together. Sometimes it makes sense to be silent and let your child discover for themselves. Sometimes you'll be a student yourself - learning as you go. You'll find that the menus on NRICH are organised either for teachers or for students, but don't feel left out. As a parent or carer sometimes you'll be one, sometimes the other. Feel free to explore both.

Webmath

Webmath is a math-help web site that generates answers to specific math questions and problems, as entered by a user, at any particular moment. The math answers are generated and displayed real-time, at the moment a web user types in their math problem and clicks "solve." In addition to the answers, Webmath also shows the student how to arrive at the answer.
