I'd like to introduce myself to the Millsap community!  My name is Kate Johnson and I am originally from a small town called Animas, NM.  I am new to Texas but my roots run deep as my family migrated from Pearsall, TX to Portales, NM in the late 1800's.  Believe me, I have not been too happy with my ancestors as I see nothing but opportunity here in Texas and hard-working Americans taking advantage of that opportunity.

I am a proud mother of 4 adult children and the proud grandmother of one of the most amazing 1 year-olds you ever saw!  We have a small business that we do together called Longhorn Mini Donuts.  

I love to read, play/watch sports of any kind, SELL YUMMY MINI DONUTS, and watch the news and Reality TV.  My favorite pastime is, of course, watching my grandson grow in body, mind, and spirit!!  People, at 59 years of age, I have to say, this is my favorite gig!

I have been in the teaching field for 30+ years and love what I do!  Looking forward to partnering with you in the education of your child!
