Hello Bulldog Nation,

My name is David Bean and I am a SPED teacher and coach.  For most of my teaching career, I have dealt with behavior issues within a school district setting, and have helped change many lives along the way.  After graduating from High School, I attended Texas A&M University as a basketball practice squad member.  I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Kinesiology degree, and later received my SPED certificate.  Both my parents were school teachers for over 34 years, and I knew I wanted to be a school teacher/coach at a very early age.

I have taught for many years, and absolutely love helping students accomplish things they never imagined possible.

I am proud to say I was raised in a Christian home, and always keep God 1st place.  My wife and I instill these values in our 2 amazing children.  We have 1 boy and 1 girl, both of which occupy our whole heart.

School teaching is not only a job, it is a calling.  I am so thankful God has given me the opportunity to be a positive male role model to so many students, both in the classroom and on the court.
