Welcome to Millsap High School's Health Science Department

I am Jennifer Shields and I teach Medical Terminology, EKG and Health Science Theory.  The 2023-2024 school year will be my sixth year at Millsap.  I hold an Emergency Medical Technician License and an EKG Technician Certification in the State of Texas. Before coming to Millsap, I worked for Medstar Mobile Healthcare in Fort Worth.  While driving an ambulance was exciting, I was away from my family a lot.  When the opportunity at Millsap opened up, I was excited to combine my love of helping others and teaching into one, and it gave me the chance to be home more with my husband and three children.
