This month the Millsap ISD Board of Trustees was honored for Board Appreciation month with displays from Floral Design and other cards and thank you items from students and staff all over the district.  We appreciate their hard work and dedication to ensuring our Bulldogs get the best education possible.

Some other highlights from this month's Board of Trustees meeting include:

• Mr. Latham led a discussion and Public Hearing based primarily on the 20-21 Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) recently released by TEA but also included the PEIMS Financial Standards Report, District Accreditation Status, Campus Performance Objectives, Report on Violent or Criminal Incidents, and the Student Performance in Post-Secondary Institutions. Mr. Latham created a new format for the report which provided a comprehensive understanding very efficiently.  These reports show our district continues to progress toward PREMIER!
• New Business included the board voting to Call a Trustee General Election and Special Election on May 7, 2022.  (Currently the district is accepting candidates to sign up to run for the school board.  The final date to submit an application for candidacy is Feb. 18, 2022).
