Happy Spring Break Bulldogs,

I hope each of you has a restful break filled with the joys of being with your family and friends.  As you start this week's journeys, I would like to share two pieces of information.

1) The 2022-2023 Millsap ISD (MISD) School Calendar has been adopted.  Please click on the following link to access the adopted calendar.  We look forward to the upcoming year!  https://www.millsapisd.net/Page/1398

2) The Texas Education Agency (TEA) requires school districts to attend school for 75,600 minutes yearly.  Due to the multiple bad weather days and early release days this school year, MISD will have to make up the instructional minutes missed by attending the two bad weather days scheduled on the 2021-2022 MISD School Calendar.  Therefore, MISD will be in session on April 18, 2022, and May 23, 2022. 

MISD has applied for state waivers for the additional minutes not covered by April 18 and May 23.  While we do not expect TEA will require MISD to make up the additional missed minutes, if they do, you will be notified immediately.
