After serving in the United States Navy, I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I taught for 7 years in Ft. Worth before coming to Millsap. This is my 25th year of teaching at the elementary level. I am starting my 18th year at the best school in the state! I currently teach Physical Education.  I am also one of the assistant coaches for Millsap High School Bulldog baseball.

I have been married to my wonderful wife (Cathy) for 37 years. We have three children that have gone to Millsap. My oldest daughter, Jessica (class of 2006), graduated from Arkansas Tech University. She lives with her husband, son and daughter in Arkansas where she teaches high school English. Ashley (class of 2009) graduated from Tarleton State. She lives with her husband and son in the Metroplex and is an Educational Diagnostician in Mansfield.  My son, Matthew (class of 2018), graduated with a certificate in welding and works for a steel company in Arkansas where he lives with his wife. I love spending time with my family and I can usually be found on the baseball field, golf course, or a lake fishing.
