Hello, I am the Animation, Commercial Photo, and Yearbook Teacher at MHS. I have worked as a Programmer/Analyst, Accountant, and served in the military at various ranks and roles. I was in the Navy (Marines as a Medic "Corpsman") and Navy Reserves for 16 years. I obtained my BBA in General Business and in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University in 2000. After that, I joined the Army as an officer (Medical Supply, IT, Public Affairs and Communications) and was Active and Reserve for another 16 years, where I served two combat tours in Iraq. In Iraq I served as IT and Public Affairs Officer (Journalism). I eventually retired from active duty in 2016 with 22 years of active duty and 10 years of reserve. During this reserve time, I was a Programmer/Analyst at JCP Corporation. After retiring from the military, I worked in Accounting for the City of Mineral Wells. I was a substitute for Millsap ISD for the 2017-2018 school year. From 2018-2021, I taught BIM and Animation. From 2021-present, I now teach Animation, COMM Photo/yearbook .
